The tittle of Melissa Bowerman "Early Syntactic Development" suggests the task of the the children learning to talk. According to a view of language - (give your source) (every speaker has some how internalized a set of rules which underlie sentence construction in his language) is to discover from the from the finite corpus of utterances to which he is exposed the underlying set of rules governing sentence construction in his language. (This whole sentence is MESSY. I can't understand what you're trying to say) It is obvious from the preface of the book that it presents a brief description of the way in which the language acquisition data from the Finnish children are analyzed and compared with material from children learning other languages. Thus book presents and explains data from a longitudinal investigation of the early syntactic development of two Finnish children and comparing (why -ing?) their speech at two stages of development with that of American,Samon, and Luo children. (which stages?) The table of contents reveals the major ideas which are related to children learning to talk.Especially chapter four and five entittled (YOU mean titled) "early stage speech" and "late stage speech" but the others chapters related to the main point but in genral way.there are sources of data collection like the taping situation .The taping situation and transcribing the tapes (Where is the verb?).
AZZA: You need to write this part and to pay attention to two things: [1] grammar, the sentence structure is really messy and sometimes ungrammatical. [2] Information, you need to be more specific and to give examples whenever possible.
